I’m Luke, a creative director and visual designer with over 16 years experience in the creative industries. My background lies in editorial design and art direction where I spent 11 years of my career gaining experience across a variety of consumer titles and numerous different sectors. This solid foundation in editorial still informs my storytelling approach to creative today.
For the past five years I have been working in the world of online retail at THG STUDIOS where I lead a team of nine creatives and oversee all the creative work for the core beauty division. We create campaigns, content, packaging, branding, pop-ups, and anything else the brand teams can think of, for several large-scale beauty retailers and brands. These include LOOKFANTASTIC, Dermstore, Skinstore, Glossybox, eyeko, and Illamasqua.
I’m an ideas and execution focussed creative and understand the importance of collaboration across not just creative teams but also with clients, including brand, trade, content and social teams. Storytelling and innovation plays a key role in my work, and I’ve recently been dabbling in NFT’s and ai generated artwork within my personal experimental work.
